Right side engine detail
You see that perforated tab hanging from the battery terminal? It's to jump the bike with regular car jumper cables without having to disassemble any part of the battery cover or box. there is a similar one on the other side. I learned that from a Volkswagen Beetle battery kit I purchased back in 1981. It would allow jumping the car from outside using remote terminals from the battery that was actually under the rear seat. I will shorten the tab later. It is still at it's 'prototype' length in this pic.
